The band is Complete Abandon and between them they have over 55 continuous years of recovery from drugs and alcohol. Band members, Pete & Al also have over 35 years additionally as grateful members of the program for friends and families of alcohol/drug addicted people. "We are what you might call doubly blessed."
Alcohol and Drug Recovery Gifts at the Brighton Hospital Gift Shop
The Brighton Hospital Gift Shop, located on the garden (lower) level of the main building in the Burdick Room, is open to patients and the public. The shop carries the following convenience items and hospital patient gifts:
- Recovery books, literature and inspirational reading
- Cigarettes
- Greeting cards
- Snacks and candy
- Phone cards
- Laundry detergent/softener
- Hair care items
- Personal hygiene items
- Scented soaps and lotions
- Jewelry
- Clothing

Daily: 2:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.
Wednesday/Saturday: Noon - 7:30 p.m
Gift Shop Payment and Deposits
We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover credit cards and debit cards with Visa and Mastercard logos. Family members and friends can make deposits in a patient’s account by calling the Gift Shop at 810-225-2589 during business hours.
All Gift Shop proceeds, along with funds raised through associate giving by Brighton employees and through the Brighton Hospital Golf Classic, support the Patient Extended Care Program. This program provides scholarship-type gifts to support additional days of treatment at our alcohol and drug rehab clinic for patients who have no insurance.
